About
From the bridge to the shipyard, from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic.
I hold a Master 500 GT licence and an Officer of the Watch 3000 GT certificate (Spanish Patrón de Altura). I trained as a maritime transport technician at the Escuela de Capacitación Nauticopesquera de Catalunya and have worked at sea since 2021, from leisure yachts to passenger and merchant vessels. I started as a deckhand in Cadaqués, Roses and Ibiza; today I am a captain on sail and power.
I have crossed the Atlantic in command of a delivery from Barcelona to Martinique, and I am leading the commissioning of a newly built sailing passenger catamaran —24 m, 120 passengers— from the shipyard in La Rochelle to commercial operation on the Costa Brava. I know the boat from the inside: shipyard, refit and maintenance across wood, fiberglass, steel and aluminum, plus deliveries and sea trials of yachts such as Sunseeker, Astondoa, Sunreef and Riva.
In 2024 I founded Velaris Charter, a charter company built from scratch in Barcelona, where besides being captain I run administration, the fleet, marketing and client relations.
I care about sharing my knowledge and supporting others on board: a safe, efficient and professional environment is something the whole crew builds.
Off watch: windsurfing, wingfoil, surf, jet ski and scuba diving.

Vessel master responsible for navigation, manoeuvring and onboard operations under sail and power; administrative and fiscal management, maintenance, safety, crew, marketing and customer relations. In command of a delivery from Barcelona to Martinique via the Canary Islands and Cape Verde (BE HANG LOOSE): technical preparation, passage planning, crew, logistics and maintenance throughout the ocean crossing, and final preparation of the boat for Caribbean operation.
